One Twin Cities restaurant is known for its food and ghostly spirits. You can get a taste of Berlin and Frankfurt at the German restaurant Black Forest Inn in south Minneapolis. The longtime family restaurant and local institution is run by sisters Erica and Gina Christ. Here, Wiener schnitzel may be on the menu, but ghostly spirits fill the air. We ve had people working here, and certainly customers come through here who were just like, Wow, there is stuff going on here,' Erica said. Paranormal activity is known to happen in this building built in the 1880s. Things absolutely move, Gina said. Things get hidden sometimes, I mean, like whole racks of silverware. A woman ghost is known to make her presence known in the basement. We re deeply connected to our history, so for us, it s another layer of that connection, Gina said.
